The pattern for these is available online, don’t fret!
I have to finish turning the heel of sock #2 before 9PM tonight, but I thought I would post this so you can all drool with me.
I’m wearing them to the Breaking Dawn Release party tonight! That’s the reason for the short post. I’m trying to stay spoiler free. Enjoy!

Fantastic!! I can’t wait to get the new book.
Are you going to publish the pattern? My daughter MUST have these socks. She and I are constantly arguing about Jacob and Edward. She’s for Edward and I’m for Jacob. It may break up our happy family.
Please let me know if you publish the pattern.
Thanks,
Penny
[...] on. How come there are books about high school vampires for which people make SOCK PATTERNS and no-one has TOLD [...]

Okay, I’ll confess first.
Haven’t heard of the books, haven’t a clue what the fuss is about (a fact that has a few friends staring at me funny and I have two copies of the book on my bedside table along with orders to “leave my cave and join the rest of the universe outside”) but the socks…
How have I missed the whole afterthought heel thing? I feel more then a bit stunned that I’ve never come across this. I’ve been wanting to dip my toes into sock knitting, and this is the pattern that is going to force the issue. Thanks a ton! (And now I guess I have to read the dratted book as well.)
The socks were a hit at the party! I won a shirt for them. I will update soon I swear! I was wrapped up in BD for the entire weekend.
Congrats! They truly deserved a prize.
