I’ve gotten some emails and comments about the downloadable patterns on the pattern page. *scratches head* I’m not sure what the issue is at this point, but I will find out! If you can’t get onto Ravelry to download the patterns, hold tight! I will have a solution soon.
Update:
The Eclipse Socks Pattern is [...]

These socks were inspired by the cover of the book Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer, the third in the Twilight Saga.
You will knit both socks in black with a red cuff, toe and heel. The ribbon and any other added details are all added later. You have lots of options with this pattern too. The ribbon [...]

I got pretty caught up in my 52 in 52 challenge this year and pretty disuaded by almost all of my knitting projects. I’m trying to get back in the saddle with an easy peasy MKL Cowl by my girl Rilana. The cowl is actually for Richelle Mead whom I’ll be seeing in person on [...]

Been committing craft adultery. I haven’t been knitting. I’ve been cross stitching. More to come soon I’m sure!
So what is that? It’s a quote from Joss Whedon’s show, “Firefly” with Mario and Yoshi. I suppose if you’re a fellow Brown Coat you know what it means. If not… get thee to [...]

Look at all that gorgeous yarn… notice the distinct lack of yellow yarn?? Totally weird. I guess I should look into more of that color. And clearly I don’t need any more blue or pink. Ever. I think there’s enough there to last me for years…

I finished my fabulous Noro scarf last night!! I used one skein of each color so its a bit shorter than I usually like, but it works fine at keeping my neck warm! The colors turned out gorgeous! I want to make more of them!

In less than a week, I went from that….
To this…
It’s the Cozy V-Neck Sweater from Fitted Knits by Stefanie Japel.
This sweater is even easier than her One Skein Wonder pattern (of which I have made several, several shrugs.) The increases are insanely easy and I’m surprised I’ve gotten this far into it without getting bored. [...]

Look, my third MKL Cowl. There’s just something about this cowl that I adore. Its deceptively simple, it drapes wonderfully and cowls aren’t fussy like scarves. Plus its cotton, which makes it oh so soft. I intend to make more of these. Lots more.
Oh Noros, why did you both have to go green at the [...]
